REVIEW-There are 2 Crab Apple roads. One starts in Kendalia the other north of Fredericksburg. Each is about 15 miles long but very scenic.

OVERVIEW- Though short in length both rides are worth the trip. The roads though well maintained are narrow and cross some cattle guards and low water crossings.  

PLEASE NOTE- Roads can have loose livestock and other hazards on them. You should not ride these roads after dark.

Follow Crap Apple all the way to 1888, stay with the yellow lines (straight) when the road forks (above)

LOWER CRAB APPLE NORTH OF FREDERICKSBURG

Take 965 north out of Fredericksburg towards Enchanted Mountain. Look for Lower Crab Apple on the right about 12.6 miles out of town. Stay straight along the entire route at any question bear right.

At the end of the run you can either follow it back into Fredericksburg or hook up with SH16 north of town by following Kneese Road (see above).
